The Print Process

Here at Bespoke Canvas Prints our aim is to produce bespoke canvas prints to the highest standards using the finest equipment and materials, and with the greatest care ensuring your canvas prints are the best quality, and make them affordable to all not just some people.

Have you got a favourite Picture or Children’s Drawing / Painting and would love to have it reproduced on Canvas so that it will last a life time well look no  further you have come to the right place.

All our canvas prints are all created in our Cumbrian workshop and are printed on a top of the range Hewlett Packard 44” wide format printer we only use Geniune HP Vivera Pigment Inks and Quality canvas ensuring superior image quality, longer print life, deeper colours and greater water and scratch resistance.

Each Canvas is Hand Stretched using Quality Stretcher Bars you have a choice of either 18mm Standard Stretcher Bars or 38mm Gallery Stretcher Bars. Each frame comes complete with wedges to re tension it and a dentate hanger to hang it to the wall all you need to supply is the nail. Over time especially in centrally heated houses your canvas will loosen, all you need to do is tap the wedges back in to the corners and the canvas will go drum tight again.

We stock huge amounts of both Standard Bars and gallery bars from 6” up to a whopping 72” in 2” increments, so what ever size of canvas you are looking for I’m sure we can produce it. If you don’t see the size you are looking please just ask.

Beware of other companies who print using cheap compatible inks and make there own frames out of bits of wood from the local hardware store. These frames will probably warp as soon as they are hung in a centrally heated house and they can not be re tensioned so will soon go baggy and will only last a short time.

That’s one thing that we can offer at Bespoke Canvas Prints Geniune quality and value for your hard earned cash.

Each frame will be Bubble wrapped and packaged up in a purpose made Canvas postal box to ensure it arrives in pristine condition and Delivered to you by either 1st class recorded mail or Fedex next day courier service (signature required)

We offer a range of image effects Free of Charge including:

This is where your photo is transferred into black and white and then some of the colour is picked out especially popular with wedding photographs (There is a small extra charge for this service)

If you would like anything else and you don’t see it please just ask.

Over-laminating artwork with heat-activated films is often referred to as heatsealing. Because many people never consider the true benefits of heatseal lamination, it is often overlooked as a method of protecting and enhancing artwork…and indeed as a way to increase revenue.

Lamination guards artwork against fingerprints, moisture, UV light, smudges, abrasion. ozone exposure and cigarette smoke. Laminates also protect artwork from damage due to handling, rolling and shipping.

Where safety is a factor, especially in shopping centres, airports, schools, retirement homes, children’s rooms, hospitals and other public places, lamination is superior to glass.

In high humidity or moisture areas such as in bathrooms, kitchens and around swimming pools, laminating films are preferred to glass due to the probability of condensation behind glass-protected pieces.

All of our heatseal laminates incorporate UV absorbers and UV stabilisers into the formulation, which prevent film degradation and image fade.

It is the responsibility of all customers to ensure that they own the copyright of all material sent to Bespoke Canvas Prints or have the consent of the owner. By supplying the image you are accepting responsibility.
